The Congregation Assessment Tool has clarified what we need to prioritize as we begin crafting our strategic plan. It also identified some underlying obstacles. I work as a consultant with other Episcopal churches in transition and recommend Holy Cow often. I always tell them that the survey uncovers things they might know about themselves deep down but haven’t been named. It is excellent information to have when recruiting and interviewing potential rector candidates but also in planning for the future. (December 2024)
